Family Heritage Funeral Home was really disappointing to us when mother passed away in April 2023. Although the facility was clean and the staff were accommodating, we were extremely embarrassed when we got to the Sumner Gardens to lay mother to rest and found out that it could not be accomplished due to the incompetency of the staff as they forgot to order the vault that was required to complete the burial. This made all of our out-of-town guest very disappointed. It left the family very upset as no explanation could be given as to why it occurred and other arrangements had to be made to allow mother to rest in peace. After this experience, other options are being considered before placing our family members in their care again.

They did both services for my parents, my mother recently. My mother was handled with the utmost respect from nursing home to burial. The men at the cemetery were like family talking small talk. Thank you!

They have taken care of both of my grandparents and my mom and dad. I was so impressed with the amount of time they take to go over Every detail in the way things should be done.They are so very empathetic and truly care about the family and all they are going through. Incredible staff! Thank you All for making an incredible hard time a little easier.❤️
