My family and I were so blessed to have found David and Chivas. I called Harper’s after several other Funeral service companies in town could not/would not work with us to schedule services for my mother before a Holiday weekend. When David answered the phone, without hesitation he said he could help us out. He and Chivas both have a can-do, no nonsense approach to everything needed for the service. We cannot thank them enough for doing an outstanding job honoring our mother and making us feel at home the whole time. I learned during the process that many funeral homes have gone ‘corporate’, with a get-in-line mentality and loss of personal touch. Not Harper’s. David really cares; and has full authority to make decisions on the spot and do whatever was needed. Try Harper’s. You will not be disappointed.

David and his team have been a blessing. In 2014 my son died unexpectedly. Harper’s went above & beyond to ensure my son had a proper funeral. I was a hot mess & they got me through planning and the service without up selling on everything needed. This year, 2021, my grandpa passed away. Once again David and his team did their thing to make sure everything was as Grandpa wanted it (he was smart & preplanned). Both times they were available at anytime we needed. It was obvious our deceased loved ones were taken care of with respect & compassion. The building itself is clean, the grounds are clean, and no one was crowded in a small room. Every seat was placed so that family and friends were comfortable & no one felt left out. The crew at Harper’s care about those who need their services; they make that apparent with the first call. We weren’t a dollar sign, we were a family grieving and Harper’s did not take advantage of that. Even the hospice nurse was blown away that the funeral director himself came to pick our loved one up. Her experience with other funeral homes was an answering service & no contact with the funeral home director at all.

I cannot say enough good things about Harpers. My parents used them for preplanning their funerals and everything was carried out as they wished, with professionalism and perfection! Dave and Chaves are wonderful to work with. I hope we are blessed with them in our community for many years to come.
