Losing my mom was the most difficult experience of my life thus far. Nothing and no one could can change this, but the funeral directors and staff at Dorsey - E. Earl Smith Funeral Home went a long way toward bringing me peace. They were professional, caring, and imparted a sense of serenity during all of our interactions. They helped to bring my vision for my mom's celebration of life to a reality in a seamless manner. I was completely overwhelmed with how far above and beyond they went in creating a personalized and fitting day for me, my mom, and our family. My mom would have been overwhelmed with this tribute to what she meant to us. My mom's favorite color was purple, and the team at Dorsey - E. Earl Smith Funeral Home ensured that it featured prominently throughout. The table displays were beautifully arranged and beautifully represented the life of my beautiful mom. I want to personally thank Eric and Michael for their kindness, compassion, and for guiding me and my family through this difficult time and on our journey to healing.

Losing your loved one is such an unimaginable feeling and trying to make arrangements and plans while your emotions are all over the place....is difficult. You leave the facility remembering things that you forget to say, do or ask at that moment and then you call on your drive home to make changes because you changed your mind from the time you were sitting in the office until the time you arrived home. With all this being said, JENNIFER TURNER was AMAZING, she handled everything with such calmness and grace! She was always available and I cannot explain how she helped me navigate through this difficult event. She has a gift, SHE KNOWS exactly when to step in and help, or stand back and observe. All I had to do was look over my shoulder and she appeared right next to me ready to take care of anything or just give me a hug if needed. It was like having a friend by my side and i cannot thank her enough! The rest of the staff that attended to us those two days were also very kind and handled everything with the utmost professionalism, and this facility is lucky to have them. Hopefully they will be recognized as well, (so sorry i did not get their names). Jennifer you are an amazing soul, you are in the right profession your compassion and grace is a calming factor and certainly helped me and my family! Thank You and GOD BLESS YOU!!! I recently found out my grandfather who died in 1985 was resting at this location. They were very quick to confirm he was there which made me very happy. My husband and I drove 2 hours to visit my grandfather today but unfortunately spent about 2 hours walking around looking for him in the Garden of Peace. Thankfully, the groundskeeper Cesar Espinosa came out to help us. We found out that my grandfather did not have a headstone so I immediately went to look into the prices after I sat and spoke with my grandfather for a bit. Cesar helped me out and gave me a great deal on a beautiful headstone. Him and the lady at the front desk were the sweetest and offered us water after being out in the sun for so long. All in all, I am very satisfied and very happy with the services I received today. Cesar and the sweet woman at the front desk were so helpful and patient with my husband and I. Thank you so much to them. I can’t wait to see my grandfather’s headstone when it’s finished. ❤️
