I found the facilities to be excellent. The people who helped me there were very understanding and kind and very professional. I got a ton of compliments from the guest that came to my husband‘s celebration of life that said they were so impressed with the set up that DO McComb had done. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need.

Kaelin was outstanding in helping us make arrangements for our 21 year old son that passed suddenly and unexpectedly. She explained everything to us that we didn't understand and explained all the costs. She helped us personalize his service and it was an absolutely stunning send off. Kaelin definitely went above and beyond, even offering a new service to us (motorcycle trike hearse) that we were able to utilize. The graveside service was nice and Kaelin made everyone feel like family. If I needed to call and Kaelin was unavailable, or we had to go in to sign paperwork, there was always another staff that was helpful and knowledgeable about what was going on. For such a hard thing to do, the team made it simple and did it with dignity! I will definitely recommend using D.O. McComb & Sons to anyone who unfortunately finds themselves in similar shoes, as they were great to work with and extremely respectable to our family.

I can’t say enough about McComb Funeral Home. I suppose that sounds odd, but it’s true. The folks there are considerate, efficient and make a difficult time more tolerable. It’s obvious why the business has survived for so long…. I had the difficult task of retrieving my husband’s ashes and the dignified manner in which they delivered them to me was both respectful and comforting…..from the lovely private room, to the table complete with candles and a picture they made up especially for me. They also allowed me private time with him before I took him which I found to be very mentally valuable, and didn’t even realize how much I needed that. I would recommend McComb to anyone finding themselves in the imaginable place when their excellent services are needed.
