I’ve never had to arrange services for a loved one who just passed. My loved one passed away at home. The EMT and the sheriff arrived and explained very thoroughly what the process since there was no release to the Coroner. I asked the sheriff if he had any recommendations. He named a few Including Diablo Valley Cremation which stood out to me because the sheriff told me that they came highly recommended and a lot of people have used them. He told me to google them and that they were in Concord. I decided to give them a call and the process was completely amazingly simple I was able to have enough time between the time I called and the time that they came to pick our loved one up to have some family members come over to pay their final respects without feeling rushed. The person who came to pick him up, was arrived exactly on time as they stated and took them away in which I had received a lot of follow up via phone call and email regarding the process I was to pick out what type of urn or container that I wanted his ashes to go into and decide on what we were going to do if we were going to scatter or just hold onto And you know we made our decision and they gave us step-by-step. They let us know exactly what day he would be cremated and where and what the process was whole step of the way they made me feel so comfortable and I will was able to get the information to them for the death certificate. They made the whole process so easy and they were so caring. I would not hesitate to recommend Diablo Valley cremation to anyone; especially in a situation where you don’t have a plan. Have many different options, including traditional funeral services with family members or just simple cremation at $1890.00 Plus the cost of the death certificates and the container which came to a total of $2035.00. With everybody chipping in from the family, it was definitely within our budget. They will also give you a license to scatter the ashes or choose just to keep in your home. That way you can have your own ceremony. Great company!!

I would like to take a moment to express how my very first experience was with having to take care of the sudden death of my husband. I had no clue what to do The sheriff deputy coroner referred me to Diablo Valley cremations. I can truly say that, as soon as I walked in the door, I felt really comfortable. I met Robin who helped me with absolutely everything. My heart fell at ease with her. She was very kind very patient and very helpful, very passionate and very understanding. She allowed me to take my time with what I had needed to do. I had to order necklaces for the family and other things. I don’t know what I would’ve done without her. Having to go through this, she was absolutely awesome. In fact everybody there is very helpful very kind and soft-spoken and they definitely help you get through this time of sorrow and grief that you are going to go through. I actually had told my kids that when it becomes my time. I want them to take me there and have them take care of me, I rate them at 10+ they have even followed up with me to see and check on me to see how I am doing through my time of grief. I recommend them 100%.
