The staff at Desert Sunset Funeral Home were very compassionate and helpful with making funeral arrangements for my family member. Bob, the funeral director, was especially kind and went over the steps of the cremation process patiently during a difficult time. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase anything at all. The entire process was straightforward and simple to understand. I highly recommend this funeral home.

My dad passed away very unexpectedly recently on a Saturday evening. After calling so many different funeral homes where we either got a message that they were closed or an employee on call who was bothered by our call, we got Jose who was truly a godsend. He took the time explaining everything to my brother until I could fly into town to take over. Jose then once again spent a large part of his Sunday afternoon with me explaining everything in detail and helping me make all the arrangements needed. He helped accommodate for my husband and kids to see my dad and once again the next day so I can do a cast mold of my dad’s hand. There were many urn options to chose from and in the end my mom chose a beautiful angel which helped give her some peace. I cannot say enough about how great, patient, caring and most important how compassionate Jose was during this great time of grief and heartbreak for our family.

Sunset funeral home did a wonderful job with my father. The staff showed that they do care about his every need, even in the beyond. They were willing to take the time to explain everything amidst the sorrow of the situation.
