Dery Funeral Home is one of the few remaining family funeral home that genuinely cares about you. Having to deal with the untimely passing of a spouse is not easy and they were so comforting and sensitive to the situation. They ensured I received what I wished not what they wanted to sell. Every single staff member is professional. My parents did all their pre-planning with Derys and were extremely satisfied.

The google reviews for Dery Funeral Home are inaccurate. The passing of my grandfather was the most difficult experience of my life. Dery’s was helpful and supportive from the beginning. The arrangements we made were challenging. There were multiple layers of scheduling an ASL interpreter, honoring wishes, arranging for another loved one’s burial and ordering keepsakes. I spoke with them daily (sometimes multiple times a day). They were respectful and considerate. They went above and beyond to ensure my grandfather’s wishes were honored.

The gentlemen that picked my father in law up from his home were great. Respectful, kind, very nice, and thoughtful. They are what brings the star count up. The guy at the Dery and whoever does billing could use some work though. For future arrangements the family has asked me for the name of the funeral home my family has been using for decades, and although you always hope you don't need it -it's nice to have people who'll treat you like family when that time comes.
