We went to Dalton and Son Funeral Home for a Celebration of Life service for our dad, and were so highly pleased. All of the staff were delightful and so helpful; they didn't try to upsell us anything or add to our charges. They gave us exactly what we wanted--a memorable service, beautifully designed programs, and 2 spaces where family and friends could visit and honor my dad. Thank you for all your assistance!

Our 20-year old grandson was killed on the highway by a drunk driver, and our big concern of the moment was that he not be left at the examiners any longer than necessary. The big corporate funeral homes near us were not giving us satisfactory attention. We were referred by friends to Dalton & Sons who received the body into their care within two hours. From there they led us all the way through the difficult process with utmost compassion and saved us $4000 over the base price of the big corporate funeral homes. At the memorial service, they never rushed the family or tried to clear the family out. At the grave site a storm was raging so loud we could barely conduct our final goodbyes. The Dalton director respectfully stood in the rain and let all the family leave the tent before he left. It was the bust of service in the worst of time.

On top of the tremendous grief that comes with the unexpected loss of a mother, handling the final arrangements can be a tremendous weight. However due to assistance from Barb, Rick, and all the staff at Dalton and Son, that weight, emotionally and financially, was much easier to bear. Everyone provided such a healing environment with so much personal care for our our needs. We were provided with detailed information for everything we needed to plan the service with ease. They handled all the arrangements for the 3hr commute to the family burial grounds; which was a tremendous blessing. They allowed us to make the service so personal to our mother, including an indoor memorial with her motorcycle, which meant the world to me. I think the highest compliment I could give is that our mother would have loved everything, which was only possible because of the over and above selfless accommodations by Dalton and Son.
