We could not have chosen a better team to work with to honor my mothers life. From the moment they picked her up, I knew we chose the right place. She was treated with so much dignity and respect just being transported, from the almost ritualistic manner in which they handled her down to the sophisticated way the team dresses and holds themselves was more honorable than I could have ever imagined. John Houston is an artist and with his daughter Kyla there to critique his work, there was no error made. He took all of our details into account and not only made my mother look beautiful and younger but also at peace, exactly how I picture her in her new life. Denise held our hand through all the scary final details that we would have never considered. She handled donations we received with a level of integrity you would expect from only family. At the end, she thought to allow me to tuck my mother in and close the casket, another detail I never considered but meant so much to me. The location is beautiful- from the landscaping outside to the carefully detailed aesthetic inside. You just know being there that you’re working with people who truly have a passion for their work. This whole experience made me feel like I did right by my mom, I couldn’t be more grateful.

What an amazing experience to celebrate the life of my mother. This will be long but detailed. Starting with the day my mom was picked up, the care and meticulous manner that was performed to wrap my mother in such a respectful way was beautiful. The first meeting with John Houston was as easy going and comfortable as we could have ever asked for. He was very detailed with information and extremely understanding of our unexpected situation. He introduced my 2 sisters and I to Denise and Kyla who would further help us with arrangements but John made sure we understand he'd be a phone call away if need be. Denise and Kyla were very knowledgeable and down to earth. They weren't overly consoling which we appreciated. Their energy, consistantly realigned with ours on a day to day basis. If a hug, a chuckle, a ear to just listen was needed it was given. John proved he was a master at his craft when he styled my mother. We explained in detail my mother called herself "handsome" and using photos we provided he did not fail us at all. He is scrupulous when it comes to his work. BRAVO! This family-oriented funeral home was nothing less than a Blessing to my sisters and I in handling our dear moms "going home" celebration. The cozy feel, as soon as you enter the home, made everyone feel at home and comfortable. I hope this helps someone that is searching for the right funeral home for themselves or their loved one. If it doesn't, I just hope this reaches John, Kyla, and Denise and helps you all recognize the undeniable peace you all brought to my family from beginning to end. Thank you! I want to give a big THANK YOU to staff of C-HF. I was there for the celebration of Ruthie Villoch and they did an amazing job with her. She looked beautiful. They were respectful, helpful, courteous to the fullest upto the end. The funeral home is beautiful and clean.
