I recently attended a service where my 3 month old son is buried. I was not prepared for what I would see. His headstone was used as a stepping stone, and a foot rest! I had to ask someone to please take his feet off of my son's headstone as it wasnt a footstool. I've been to quite a few funerals/burials and have NEVER seen this happen! It was beyond the most disgraceful and disrespectful thing I've encountered. The funeral home associates stood by whispering to one another and staring at my husband whom walked off and myself as if we shouldn't react! THIS WAS MY BABY!! MY CHILD!! AND NOT ONLY DID YOU SET IT UP THIS WAY, YOU JUST STOOD BY LIKE IT WAS OK! Now mind you the opposite side of the casket being buried was open and the chairs could have went on that side without ANY grave being disgraced and disrespected! This has emotionally and mentally made me sick and it's all I can think about, people just stepping on my BABY!! Guess you didn't expect anyone related to be there?? That's still UNACCEPTABLE! I would like to understand and a answer on why??

I can’t thank Blake and Clements enough for helping me after my mom passed. It takes a special person to do what they do and Durham is blessed to have Blake in the business. His calming and comforting nature is exactly who you want to deal with in these difficult times. I was able to ask him any questions and what to expect and he comforted me and my dad throughout the entire process. I can’t imagine not having Clements to turn to during this hard time. Forever grateful for their services.

This family owed place has been amazing they were above and beyond for my pops funeral and even years later when my Nana passed away they still held up the same for her above and beyond and made our family feel like their family Thanks Erin for everything
