Chiles funeral home is the worst funeral home ever . If you want a proper burial and funeral service for your love ones this is not the place to go. They only communicate about the money after that they will do what they want with your love one without reaching out for your opinion or advice. 1. They didn’t have my brother hair bald like we asked him from the beginning. (Several times we advised them of this ) The day before the viewing his dad ask to see him and his head had so much hair on it and they had to cut it that day. Even his nails were so long they had to cut them also ,so imagine if he didn’t ask to see the body smh. 2. They never reached out to us to let us know the shirt we got for him was too small so they took it amongst themselves to cut the shirt and put a tie on him . If that was the outfit we wanted for him then we would’ve put that on him smh. 3. He didn’t have seats for my family to sit down. Normally funeral staff will have reserved seats for the family. (Proper way ) They have the family wait outside and the staff comes to get us and then have us seated last. (Chiles way) they made us seat ourselves 4. The pastor who preached rushed the service saying “I’m not going to be with yall long” So unacceptable and disrespectful to the family. 5. During the reflections they gave everyone 2 mins yet only allowed 3 people to speak. Before the next person could walk up to speak the pastor hurried and continued on with the program robbing us of our time to give reflections about my brother . 6. After the pastor rushed the service we went to the burying ground and NO PASTOR was there to pray over my brothers body before putting him in the ground. 7. After gathering everyone together at the grave site Chiles staff said “This concludes our service you all can go back to your cars now “. No prayer no nothing just those words that pierce so deeply in my head . I will never forget that . I’ve never seen a service done this way I was so upset, disappointed and I felt highly disrespected. Honestly we felt robbed of our chance to say our final goodbyes to my big brother Roc. 8. We had to get another pastor to pray over his body that day and that was a service we paid for but Chiles didn’t provide to us . 9. After we left his stepmother stayed behind and they didn’t even bury him where he was supposed to be buried. They moved him and they made us believe that where we were standing was his final resting place. It’s a video attached showing how they put him in the ground . I mean scratching up the coffin and all smh . 10. He originally quoted thousands of dollars less than what he actually charged us . We ended up paying $10,900 for disrespect and humiliation. My brother funeral lasted 40 minutes smh . He was and still is loved by so many and we didn’t get the opportunity to say our final goodbyes because Chiles Funeral Home robbed us of the opportunity to do so. This is something we will NEVER forget and also something we would NEVER be able to do again . He robbed us mentally, physically,emotionally and financially. The only good thing that came out of this is that my brother looked himself they did a great job with his body . But I will never go back there again . FYI Please don’t respond to me about discussing my concerns with you because I did exactly that in a respectful way yet you hung up the phone on me and when I called back you didn’t answer me. I called the office and asked for you and they kept me on hold for over 5 minutes. So unprofessional yet you call my deceased brother’s dad to apologize to him and he wasn’t the one who reached out I was. When I advised you that you were being dismissive and that you had this nonchalant attitude I believe you got offended and disrespectfully hung up on me. NEVER USE THIS PLACE PLEASE SHOP AROUND for someone who cares and someone who is not only about the money like this place.

Chiles Funeral Home was completely amazing in assisting with my Son’s passing. Each and every member took extreme care and concern with every single detail. To say they went above and beyond for my family’s needs is a gross understatement. I didn’t have to worry about or question any decision during such a difficult time. The management was not only professional but treated us as if it was their own family member. I can never thank them enough for helping us through such a difficult time. I would highly recommend their services to any and everyone.

Brandon and Justin did a phenomenal job on my move today. I was very very impressed with their efficiency, they worked together very well, they were extremely polite and professional, I can’t say enough good things about them! I will definitely work with them again! They take the chaos of moving and make it much more smooth process!
