Kara, Steven, Mike, and the entire team was so considerate and caring through our time of extreme grief and sadness. Kara made everything easy and spoke so kindly of my dad as if she personally knew him. It really meant a lot how she went above and beyond.

My wife of 56 years died totally unexpected. It is extremely difficult to realize that she is not going to be there when I wake up each morning. The Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist is located on East Brainerd and is a very impressive looking facility. It was very conveniently located near our home. The Funeral Home advertises that the staff will arrange a peaceful and dignified service for a loved one. This period of time is incredibly stressful and the surviving family members are overwhelmed by the death of their loved one. Tom Wilson, Funeral Director met me at the reception desk and took control of the situation. Insanely traumatizing issues like transferring the remains from the hospital to the funeral home were resolved. Tom was companionate, caring and supportive as the details of making preparations to prepare and transport the remains some 300 miles to her family plot. My daughter in law and I requested that we observe the body prior to departure. The staff had done a remarkable job and the result was that she was as beautiful as she had been in life. Following the service in Kentucky a memorial gathering was conducted at the Chattanooga Funeral Home in Chattanooga for her friends and associates. The facilities of the funeral home, including the kitchen and the meeting area were peaceful and comfortable. The gathering was extremely well done. As all through this depressing process Tom and his staff were there to help. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Tom Wilson and the Chattanooga Funeral Home.
