Jim Carmichael is a kind, sensitive funeral director who explained things to me and helped me choose just the right things to honor my wife. Working with Jim at Carmichael's Funeral Home was a great decision for our family. The personal connection and kindness we were treated with felt like we were being cared for by a family member. They did a tremendous job of honoring my husband and making us aware of things we did not know, such as Military Honors and the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. The obituary and website page was posted within hours of our first meeting and any additional changes happened very quickly. I wasn't looking forward to the day coming when I would need to make arrangements following my husband's passing. However, Carmichael's Funeral Home in Smyrna made everything comfortable for me. Jim greeted me, and we chatted for several moments while he listened compationately to stories about my husband. Thank you, Jim.
