Cannot recommend Brown and Sons enough. My mother and I felt lost when my stepfather passed away, but Ryan made the entire process seamless, handling us and our loss in such a respectful, caring, and compassionate way. I felt he went above and beyond to make everything easier on us, leaving us room to grieve while honoring my stepfather’s life and wishes in a way he would have been very proud of. Their facilities are also very beautiful, we had the viewing there and it was just such a peaceful and home-like place. Plus, you can never go wrong with local, family-run operation who has been doing this for years and years. Thank you Ryan and staff for your kindness in such a difficult time.

We had an excellent experience with Brown and Sons handling our funeral arrangements. I recently attended a celebration of life service at the 43rd Street West location of Brown and Sons. From the moment we walked in and were greeted by Anna and Gene, apparently long-time staff members, we were made welcome. Not having been there before, they guided us through the areas where the service and separate reception would be held. The facility itself is very nice, inside and out. Although a group of our family members stayed on for a good while after the reception to take photos with friends and relatives, we were never rushed. The staff was so kind and helped us to leave a sad occasion with gratitude and a smile.
