My dad’s funeral was today (4/6/24) at 10:30 am. He was cremated and we paid for graveside service. We were to have the tent, 20 chairs and table set up for the urn, flowers and pictures. About 60 people attended. The only thing that was there at 10:30 am was the hole that was dug. No tent, and later provided 4 chairs and the table was only big enough for urn and flowers. We had to put my dad’s picture on top of vault on the ground. I have cried all day. I have never been so embarrassed. What Brown McGehee did for my dad’s funeral was very disrespectful. Please make sure you check out your funeral home. I prepaid for the funeral over a year ago and ordered the headstone but 14 months later, we still do not have the headstone..

During that last year we have made many changes here at Brown McGehee Funeral.. we have made improvements to the building on both the exterior and the interior. We have also made great strives into helping our families in any way we can!! Standing by them in there time of need, helping them have some closer about their loved one. Many changes have been made for the clergy cards as well as the prayer cards. We have upgraded our electronics to make things easier on making slide shows for our families.

My dad worked at this funeral home for over 40 years and took pride in serving others throughout the community. We had to lay my dad to rest last week and all I can say is the staff at Brown McGehee Funeral Home did a phenomenal job.
