All the staff that I met and worked with in my time of need, were very caring and considerate. They are very well versed in their profession and take the time to answer any question you may have. And they are very thorough in helping anyone with navigating through the process of making sure the necessary arrangements are taken care of.

Working with Jay M. was just unbelievable! He assisted me from the beginning to the end, so kindly, patiently and professionally. I was not expecting to be treated in such a courteous manner, he made the coordination of the service and everything else so pleasant. Mahalo Jay M., thank you for everything, it meant a lot.

I came to Borthwick Mortuary because my wife and best friend of 30 years passed suddenly. I did not know how, when, where etc…to go and the things needed as far as funeral arrangements and expenses were. After the arrangements the I did for my wife Deb, I decided that I wouldn’t want my kids to try to figure out how to do what I had to. With the help of Ben Balete I did make pre-arranged plans for myself. I actually felt relieved (not sad) to get it done. Because we just don’t know when it will happen, but it will. I hope this helps, the unknowns of funerals and things that need to be done after the funeral is a lot to deal with when you or someone you love has to!
