Rob's support and guidance as we planned our mother's funeral felt like he was a part of our family. Rob was really patient and willing to answer so many questions beyond just burial details. The little details he suggested made our mother's funeral exceptional. Rob is a pro at his profession. We would give him a 10 star rating if we could. Bordentown Home for Funerals is a family owned business and it is one of the best!

I don't think anyone is truly prepared when it's time for a family member to pass however in our case it truly was something we never saw coming. When my brother passed away in Sept of 2020 I had no idea where to start and simply put "funeral home near me" in the search bar. I called Bordentown home for funerals and had the pleasure of speaking to Robert. He quickly set my mind at ease and made an exceptionally difficult situation just about as pleasurable as it could be. Robert was attentive to every detail and at a time when my mother and I couldn't stop crying he had us smiling and joking all the while remembering wonderful memories and planning a beautiful celebration of life for my brother. As we started go share the information about the service for my brother we heard from many neighbors and friends about the exceptional funeral director Robert is and the wonderful services he provides. Speaking with Robert felt more like speaking with a dear friend. He is beyond knowledgeable and to say he pays attention to every detail puts it very mildly. He was beyond outgoing and knew the right questions to ask so he could get a vivid picture of the man my brother was. We enjoyed speaking with Robert so much that we asked him to oversee the ceremony. Robert wrote a lovely speech and made us all feel like he personally knew my brother. I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience my family had with Robert and his staff.

Wow, where to start.....Well, first Rob is an amazing human. At such a tragic time in my life, after losing my life long best friend at the young age of 29, Rob went so far and beyond his duties. .. Not just in the job he had to do but in the generosity he had for his Community and for my friend who was a local EMT/Fireman. In such a very very short time, he somehow did so many things that I did not think we could have been done.... Also, due to the circumstances of my friends death, we did not think we would be able to have a proper viewing, yet he was able to deliver just that.....and he looked great...... and I cannot imagine not having that opportunity to say goodbye to my friend. I cannot thank him enough even just for this.... I could literally go on for an hour on all the amazing and selfless things Rob did for my friend, for us and everyone who loved my him.......please believe me when I say that he was nothing short of a Saint.... Even though it’s something that’s difficult to think about, I wouldn’t want anyone but Rob and company for any and all of my loved ones and myself..... He truly is a master of his trade and his humanity and kindness goes above and beyond most people that I’ve met.
