EDITED 7/16: Thank you to Mike Day for taking immediate care and attention to our situation within hours, and finding our headstone which had become covered with grass in the Holy Garden. Our family headstone was immediately raised and leveled that day, and we were sent personal photos of the progress. My family and I look forward to future restoration and maintenance of the grounds back to their original beauty with your promised efforts post-storm. ----- 7/14 Original Review: INCREDIBLY disappointed in and disturbed by conditions, care, and maintenance of cemetery/grounds today. Been visiting my family members for 30+ years here, have 5 members buried in/near The Garden of the Holy Family. Upon entrance: many large [very] dead trees are visible with branches, limbs, and sticks all over. Dead flowers, trash and pieces of artificial plants are strewn everywhere, forgotten and not being regularly picked up as they used to be. American flags are on ground, broken and dirty (yet they are still handing these out in the front office/main building). SERIOUS MAINTENANCE issues that need to be addressed immediately. Went to pay our respects and our family headstone was not visible. A complaint/concern was filed this weekend, but we were told another person had just come in with the same complaint a day before. Witnessed additional damaged or completely covered headstones/markers on grounds. Restland Management and Leadership needs to take these concerns very seriously, and return Restland to beautiful care it once was.

Our experience working with Restland Funeral Home was truly outstanding. We’ve had the pleasure of teaching their team how to use Microsoft Excel, and each time we’ve worked with them, we’ve been welcomed into a clean, peaceful, and calming environment. The staff is incredibly friendly and eager to learn, making the entire process enjoyable and productive. Their attention to detail and professionalism really stood out, and it was clear that they are dedicated to excellence in everything they do. It’s a great company to work with, and we highly recommend them to anyone.

My father was buried here in 1999. I live out of state and just returned to visit after over 20 years. I could not remember exactly where his head plate was located. I called the day before our trip and a very nice woman in the office helped me by giving me the garden, row, etc. Once I arrived at the cemetery the guard in the information booth was very kind and helpful. He gave us a map detailing how to drive back to the garden where my dad was buried. We walked that entire garden several times and could not find my dad. I drove back up to the office and another very kind man, Justin, did some searching in their computer system. He drove back to the garden with us and helped me find my dad. I was so grateful for the patience, kindness, and help I received from all three staff members. I was very happy I could show my son, who's never met my dad, where he was buried. It meant a lot to me.
