Since 1908 when John and Jean Tezak first began this business, four generations of our family have served over 10,000 families in Joliet and the surrounding area. We continue this tradition of service today and want you to feel as though you are part of our family. Every detail will be attended to, and we would like you to experience as much comfort and peace as possible in your time of difficulty. John and Jean’s son, Richard W. Tezak, instilled in us that every detail is important and every family is special. Along with his wife, Josephine, he served his community and the families that came into our funeral home with the utmost dignity and respect, and treated them as if they were his own. The Tezak tradition carries on with Richard and Josephine’s sons, John (Judy) and Richard K. (Ellen) Tezak; along with Richard’s son, Kenny Tezak, and Richard and Josephine’s daughter, Mary Jean (Tom) Hayducak’s son, Ryan Hayducak and Ken Plese, CPC, Office Manager.
