My father passed away unexpectedly this year, and I had no idea what to do. I had never planned a funeral, and could not even conceive of trying to do so through my grief. Fortunately, I was referred to Berry-McGreevey-Martens Funeral Home. My family met with Chad, who walked us through all of the steps in the process, including recommending a speaker for the service and a cemetery for the burial. Chad posted an obituary on a dedicated memorial page, and he also coordinated with The Plain Dealer so an obituary would run the Sunday before the service. We had to postpone the service for a couple of weeks because of family scheduling, and they were accommodating and kind, helping us every step of the way. We were able to schedule a private viewing, drop off photo boards and other memorabilia for the service, and clear everything out when it was convenient for us. The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and has a peaceful feeling about it. Elizabeth even sent a message a week after the funeral to check on our family, see if I needed anything, and make sure we were doing okay. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Chad and his staff were wonderful when my mom passed in July. I had to call multiple times for a variety of issues and Jackie was always so sweet and caring. Thank you very much for everything Chad. Excellent service and compassion during our time of need.
