Thank you Bernardo Garcia family for providing the best loving and respectful service to our mom. Jennifer, your knowledge, patience and support for my family went above & beyond. Alberto, Oscar and everyone that was involved with my mom’s service we thank you for your support and great care of our feelings in this difficult time. Funeral homes are typically a place that we don’t want to go willingly, but I have to admit that their facility is inviting, very clean and not gloomy. I never thought I'd be reviewing a funeral home. Yet I contracted their services last month and had a completely different experience than the reviews I see here so wanted to add my opinion. My loved one passed away unexpectedly and I had to rush to both price services and make arrangements. Everyone I encountered here was both respectful and helpful. They also had the best prices of the 3 area homes I priced. When there's a difference of $2,000 on a basic package it does not matter to me that there's no audio visual equipment, only 1 design of remembrance cards or that the guest book is not embossed with my loved one's name. That's a big difference in price and every dollar counts when final arrangements are so expensive. The place itself is sparse outside but clean. The inside is clean and while not fancy, there was nothing shabby about it and it is well maintained. There's also plenty of room in case the guests at viewings spill out into the common areas. Although they don't have audio visual, they gladly set up a nicely dressed small table for our own TV. Considering what I am reviewing here I won't say I can't wait to return. But especially because of what I'm reviewing, I was very satisfied with their services, prices and assistance from staff.

10 years too late but I owe them this review. First the man at the reception desk was rude and unaccommodating if not for that other mourners were there I would have resorted to physicality. The men's restroom sink was out of order making this a health issue. Losing a loved one is a trauma in and of itself to have such an unprofessional void of compassion staff with inadequate parking adds to the bereavement process. I would urge anyone not to patronize Bernardo Garcia unless you're a masochist.
