Funerals are hard no matter what, but David walked me through everything. The compassion he has for the person that passed and for the family is amazing. I felt our family really got to say goodbye in a comfortable home like setting, it was beautiful and personal. He treated our loved one with such care, that he looked amazing, as if he were only sleeping. He has an amazing gift to comfort people in this hard time. He went above and beyond, I am incredibly thankful.

I've unfortunately been to several funerals in recent weeks. Although the building isn't new and everything absolutely perfect. From start to finish they made the entire process smooth and super easy. David was the most caring person I've ever met. My grandmother suffers from dementia and is almost completely deaf. David took the time to explain everything to her several times. Due to her dementia she had forgotten her husband's death several times. David took the time, every time, to sit her down and talk with her about everything that was happening and what was going to happen. I've never seen such care and understanding. While visiting the other couple places in town, they seemed to have a corporate feel to them, and we were just another job. Barnett & Lewis went above and beyond at every turn. And the amazing thing was Grandpa truly looked amazing. He could have just been asleep. He looked 10 years younger and the entire family and all who visited were stunned on how good he looked. David Lewis and staff. I just want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everything you did for my family. You really do understand what being a family run business is all about, and what can be achieved with hard work. I hope you guys have many many more years in business. They're stealing money from nursing home tenants. They cremated my aunt even though she had a 5000$ burial account! We asked for fingerprints, David said they would, and they never did! They claim this 5000$ is unfounded but we have the certificate! He wouldn't let us see my aunt before she was cremated. Wouldn't accommodate us at all! He collected that check, then told us to go to county, and took the county money when we had the money in the burial account for her service! David, you better answer to this!! We have proof! He cremated our Aunt against her wishes!! And wouldn't let us say goodbye!!!
