Baldwin Fairchild was absolutely wonderful during such a difficult time in planning my mother’s funeral. Their attention to detail was beyond what I could have imagined when they put together the display that covered so many thing about my mom. Everything turned out wonderfully. Ashley’s help in planning and Tracy’s assistance the day of went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you for your support to my family.

My mom was at Hospice Care before she passed on March 7, 2021. She was the last living relative I had. We had a bond, being that I was her only child. I took my mom’s passing as the most devastating moment of my entire life. And when I found out how my mom was cremated, I took it as another big hit in my already sensitive emotional state. The people at the Baldwin-Fairchild Winter Garden Funeral Home did not console me in person. Instead a woman who obviously did not like White people handed me my mom’s ashes in a cardboard box. I have never felt so horrible in my entire life until I experienced this type of unprofessionalism. I sat on this couch hoping someone would offer some type of spiritual help or even have an Officer take me to the Hospital for evaluation. I really wanted to die, just so I can be with my mom. I always told my mom that when she died, I was gonna die too. Like most of us, we don’t know where we are really going after death. And knowing and experiencing seeing and hearing ghosts, knowing that some spirits are stuck living a unpleasant part of their lives over and over again or confused and don’t know where their at or how to go towards the light, bothers me a great deal. These experiences leave me questioning. Is my mom stuck in her death state in hospice? In her death state did she see or feel herself be cremated? I would have rather picked up my mom’s body and driven to a beautiful forest and laid her in my lap as I pulled the trigger to end my own life, just so I could be with her in the afterlife. I couldn’t afford a funeral, nobody gave a eulogy, nobody consoled me, nobody did nothing besides treat me like a customer, instead of a person. “Here’s your mom, have a nice day”. Wasn’t righteous by any means. I hope these people get the same treatment I received, it would be appropriately fitting. I do not and will never recommend them to anyone.

I really just want to that the staff at Baldwin Fairchild was extremely helpful. They made me feel comfortable in a depressing situation. We actually laughed at times. Kelly and Brin were the best!
