Atchley funeral home is amazing. DJ and Adam Atchley were absolutely amazing and unbelievably kind. The staff also was top notch. No matter what I asked the answer was "no problem, we are hear for you". I was honestly answered with every question and never one time did they try to sell me anything I did not want, they just kindly and patiently guided me through this difficult time. From coming to my home and picking up my wife to the gravesite i was treated with amazing respect. God bless everyone here and their families. I wish I could give them 10 stars as five is just not enough !

My Momma passed away on the 18th I went to school with Reed and he made my experience planning her funeral the best it could be. The day we laid her to rest he said if I needed anything not to hesitate to call or stop bye. My family has done business with Atchleys since I was a kid but this is my first one on one. I'll recommend them to anyone. Thank you all for being so kind.

Very sad to hear "in the end it's a business". That's the mentality you have when you know you're practically the only "business" in town. Hope I pass one day in a town where the people who run funeral home still have a heart. They make three times the profit on a cremation just to take a body 15 minutes and wont even allow you to pay it down. All up front or your loved one is ours. Gross. They run the town on this death game. I've been to 4 services there too. The building inside was tacky and outdated. Especially for how "busy" they are and how much money this "business" makes.

It's almost dark natured to say you loved a funeral home...no one wants to say goodbye to a loved one. However this family and the staff members here really help you through the process and are so kind and sensitive. One year apart to the day my husband lost both of his grandmothers and the staff here were really a godsend during our times of grief. They want above and beyond for me personally when I attended the service of a wonderful friend with my two young children along. My son had a little lovey he totes around everywhere. After I had been home from the service for a few hours we realized the tiny lovey which is no larger than a handkerchief was missing and that was the only place it could have been lost. I called them up and although there wasn't anyone at the chapels anymore, one of the staff members went back and looked for it, found it, and put it in the office for me to pick up the next day. I'm grateful our town has such a professional and wonderful service provider when a family is dealing with a loss. I cannot praise them enough.
