My mother died in June 2024. I worked with Dave at the Delhi location. He neither offered his condolences or showed any empathy as we planned her funeral. I told my dad that he had a very "car salesman" mentality and he agreed. I was told that the bill would be sent out at the end of the month but I received a statement for payment in July 2024. My siblings promised to pay, as I paid her cemetery fees, but reneged due to family drama. During this time, I did not receive any other correspondence from the funeral home: not a letter or invoice, not a "your account is past due," not an email or phone call. On 20 August - only one and a half months after the original invoice, while on the phone with my oncology team, I hear a banging on my door. I answer it and it is Dave from the funeral home! He came to my house to personally give me another bill and issued a warning about my obligation to pay. I was so upset. I have never, ever had a business come to my house unannounced to try and collect a payment or give me another bill. This was only 7-8 weeks since I received my original and ONLY invoice from the company. This is unsettling at best and creepy at worst. Imagine owing a bill for a month and having the company show up at your house deliver another invoice instead of sending it by mail or email. It felt like harassement to me and I was embarrassed and shocked by this very unprofessional behavior! Beware of this company! If you (or your family) are slow to pay - even by a month - Dave might be at your door next. EDIT to the response below: You did not have a hard time getting a hold of me, as you claim. You never tried. I never got an email, letter, or phone call since my original invoice. You just showed up at my house! That is unacceptable, intrusive, and VERY violating! Since you had my address you could have easily sent a letter - or a certified letter, if you wished. But you never, ever did. So do not say I was difficult to get in touch with. You didn't even try until you showed up at my house like a creepy stalker. P.S - I DID call the funeral home the same day you banged on my door and spoke with a receptionist, leaving my name and number and specifically asking for a call back - but no one ever did. This was over a week ago. If I could give you zero stars, I would.

I could not have been more impressed by the service provided by this funeral home. We worked with Leslie and she went above and beyond. Answered every one of our calls with an hour or two, never made us feel like we were a burden with all of our questions, picked up the urn from the cemetery for us, order jewelry for me, and everything. They were not pushy at all about payment, and anyone who wanted to be involved could be. The funeral home is also beautiful. There was a space downstairs were could go get snacks and grieve privately when we needed to during the service. They made plenty of room for the collages and even completely customized the prayer card to include something different when nothing pre-made really suited my dad. When we needed more chairs for the service, they went and got more immediately before anything began to make sure everyone in attendance was comfortable. Going through this loss has been the hardest thing in my life, but Vitt, Stermer, and Anderson helped seamlessly put together a layout and service that is exactly what my family wanted. When going through this process, some people will try to take advantage of you, or treat you will coldness or distance. Everyone at this funeral home was the perfect amount of professionalism, kind, and helpful and we could not be more grateful. Thank you for helping our family in anyway you could heal through our loss. It has been so challenging, but you made the funeral and cremation process as easy as possible on your end. Thank you for everything you did for us.

My daughter lost her baby while in Cincinnati. We all live in another state. Leslie and David made us feel like we were the only ones they were taking care of that day. They prepared everything we needed to have a funeral back home. They truly lifted so much weight off of our shoulders. I could not have asked for more caring people to help us. Cincinnati is blessed to have them.
