Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. was founded in 1973. The original funeral home was Hoppe Funeral Home and was founded by Augustus E. Hoppe. In 1931, the home was then located at 5th Street and Kennedy Blvd. The home was relocated to its present location in the early 1940's. The funeral home is conveniently located in midtown Bayonne and services all faiths.
William Kohoot Funeral Home was founded in 1948 by William Kohoot to serve the local community of Bayonne. The funeral home was purchased in 1989 by Donald and Janet Levis Cymbor when William Kohoot retired. In 2006 the funeral home relocated to it present location at 854 Avenue C to better serve the community.
