Dryden Funeral Home was formed in 1962 by brothers Carl T. and Alta Dryden following the brothers' purchase of Guntharp Funeral Home from its owner, Charles Guntharp. In 1966, Carl's son Eddy Lynn joined the family business and was its President until his death in 2005. Carl, or as he was more affectionately known "C.T.", stayed active in the business until his death in 1993. The funeral home's current manager and President is Mark H. Dryden, who returned to Heflin in 1990 to work with his father, Eddy. We are very proud of the fact that we are a locally owned, family business. Our family has been part of Cleburne County for six generations and we are proud to serve the people that we have lived with for so many years.
