The Zabor family treats your family like their family. From the moment we met with them after my dad passed I felt confident and assured they had everything under control and they were there to provide not only their services but and perhaps more importantly sincere kindness and compassion. I was attending a wake there yesterday. The funeral home was not very handicap accessible. There was a separate handicap entrance around the building but without knowing that before I parked I had to walk around the building. Once inside you can only remain on the main floor. So when my family went downstairs to socialize and eat I had to go home because I couldn’t walk down the numerous stairs and the funeral home doesn’t have an elevator or stair lift. When I spoke with the gentleman about it he was a bit rude about it. Other older funeral homes have had stair lifts put. In I don’t understand why this one hasn’t.

Everyone at Zabor's were kind and compassionate. We couldn't have been more pleased with the service we received for my father's funeral. The atmosphere was warm and not suffy, the price was reasonable and the care to details was an unexpected advantage. They helped us find a videographer for the service, downsized our food order when we went overboard, and my mother was so impressed by the white cadillac hearse, and the house used for the reception, it was a peaceful end to a long and difficult day. We strongly recommend this funeral home, Justin and Kurt were just wonderful to work with, genuine and sincere, you could tell they valued the life we had lost and provided the dignity one would expect.
