It has been a month now since my beloved wife passed away. Unfortunately it was not something that we had planned at the moment or were expecting .She had been improving in her agility and health since her implanted Barostim heart device. It appears that she just went to sleep that Saturday after lunch. This left me with the unwanted task of preparing her funeral and deciding where to have it. I stated all this leading to my decision. Wrenn Yeatts North Main Street location has been in the past where most of my family had been handled and buried from. I'm sure there were other options in the city and I have been through some funerals lately and I found that the environment almost felt sterile to me at some of the locations. They were not very close-knit family oriented surroundings but more of an auditorium and spectacle type of service. I wanted something more dear, so I chose Wren Yeatts for that reasoning. I was pleasantly and appropriately please with my decision. The location contributed a family room where her remains could be available for anybody to come and visit for the days before her service. Their location has what I would call like living rooms that are more family-oriented and much more warmer than the alternatives. We were able to bring her personal belongings and display them with her along with the flowers. We were able to go and sit with her for hours at the time and just be with her in that close family room sitting. This brings great peace and the feeling of closeness that I would not have gotten in an open air auditorium. The chapel is more of what a church service is to be look like. It is what we grew up with and wanted to be in. The chapel again allow for us to have her personal items on display as well as for flowers and to have an excellent and wonderful service for her. Now for the staff and administrators I cannot be more grateful or pleased. They assisted way and beyond and above the call of duty they were there for us every moment, even when we had multiple and many questions over and over again and continually interrupting their activities they were never ever not attentive or willing to stop what they were doing and take care of our needs. They have gone out of the way to make our grieving and our goodbyes a successful and wonderful event. I hope and pray you don't need the service in the future anytime but when you do I with highly recommend you seek out these individuals in this location for they do a wonderful and caring job and have presented themselves professionally and lovingly to all my family and extended friends that were attending visitations and services. This has to be the worst of the worst. Zero stars if I could. The lady Megan is the rudest funeral director I have ever come across. She literally has no sympathy and is all about the money. I understand that things need to be paid for, but for her to be so condescending in a time of grief, is completely uncalled for. Unprofessional, impolite, and just flat out rude.
