This is an an exquisite and beautifully well cared for and maintained cemetery. Of note, is the Showmen's Rest....a mass grave of circus performers of the Hagenbeck & Wallace Circus who perished in the summer of 1918 when their train was collided into by a troop transport.

Every detail of my mother’s funeral was well taken care of. The staff at Woodlawn Funeral Home took care of us extremely well. I would highly recommend Woodlawn Funeral home because they are very caring, professional and extremely accommodating. Thank you for taking care of the details so my family and I can grieve.

Our father passed away unexpectedly last month. Our minds were a bit flustered and we were just looking for a funeral home that was in a central location for our relatives who live both in the city and the suburbs. We saw that Woodlawn was right off the highway and from the pictures had plenty of parking and the venue looked nice and spacious. Not long after I left an online inquiry, Shelley called me and walked us through the process and packages they offered. I can't say enough about Shelley's customer service through that difficult time. She was patient and explained all the options to us. The packages themselves were very reasonable and customizable. They were also really flexible with everything we needed to bring as far as Chinese traditions and posters with photos. All the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, they weren't pushy at all and allowed us to have the best service we could ask for. They also went above and beyond with a lot of unexpected keepsakes that made the entire experience special. If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. Thank you!!!
