All the employees at Mackey Woodlawn made my experience of arranging final plans for the burial of my loved one a beautiful time for our family. No detail was overlooked by our exceptional funeral director or the staff during our planning process and also on the day of the funeral. My dads funeral service was awesome. Martha I have to say is a wonderful sister to my dad. The preacher was absolutely amazing and he told the truth in all phases of life. The marines that honored my dad did an amazing job. I thank God for my dads side of the family. If I forgot to mention others that is perfectly fine.

I attended a funeral here for the fourth time, the last two in the hot summer. The chapel portion is a SAUNA. Even the funeral employees all stayed at the cool end of the building. I experienced (survived) a service here two years ago and again this week. Nothing was different temperature wise. Attendants were all nice enough and reported their AC tech had been working on the problem for 10 days....a funeral service is a time for respect and healing, not endurance. Advice - bring your best heat survival gear and Mackey, fire your AC guy !
