Woods Mortuary did a fantastic job making a difficult situation as painless as possible. They provided guidance and support for the whole family as we navigated the celebration of life for my mom. We were involved in every decision and the staff took care of all the details behind the scenes. They coordinated with a local florist to custom make the flower spread with pink roses and Stargazer lillies. They even accomodated my mom's hair stylists and allowed her to style her hair for the last time. The chapel service was perfect and the family appreciated Woods taking the time to find my mom's favorite song so it could be incorporated into the service. I can't say enough how caring and helpful everyone was. I couldn't have found a better mortuary to take care of my mom.

Had a five star experience until realizing after the funeral that the memorial folders we purchased were never handed out at the service. They were charged on the bill and when I called it was blamed as an administrative error. Funeral director said that the admin must not have noticed it on the bill and therefore didn’t order them. Funeral director should have double checked that before the funeral and made sure they were handed out. He took no responsibility and I was left with an oh well feeling from him. I picked out a veteran’s card with a sweet passage about my dad and it would have been a nice momento for our family and friends. That day was very hectic for me and to have to double check that things were done right was the last thing on my mind. He did offer to print them now and got him to take the charge off. Kinda too little too late but I can now add that task on to the other million I have to mail them out to people.

Woods Mortuary has handled many of my family’s funeral experiences and have always been very kind and supportive to the family members and guests. My dad passed in September and they were absolutely amazing and worked with us to provide him with his military funeral. The day we had his service there was a hurricane hitting FL and many service members were being sent there, the weather here was not the greatest but they had it all worked out.
