When I first called to inquire about end of time arrangements, Mrs. Ruby was so nice over the phone. When the day finally came, we were so distraught but the staff of Wilson Wooddale Funeral Home was so comforting and very knowledgeable of services needed. We had a sit down with Mrs. Ruby and she was so reassuring and understanding of our situation. My mom was cremated and we all thought that seeing her at the hospital would have been our final time with her. But once we finished with paperwork, Mrs. Ruby asked if we wanted to see our mom. My stomach cringed. We were not expecting that but at the same time we were happy that we had that time with her. She looked so peaceful. Her skin was glowing. You would have thought she was taking a nap. If our mom were to be buried instead, I know she would have been taken good care of with the upmost care and respect. My sister's and I were definitely pleased with the presentation and appearance of our mom and the placement of her ashes in our individual family urns. Wilson Wooddale Funeral Home is highly recommended by The Cager Family and now in my future burial portfolio for my husband and I when our time comes to make that decision. The staff at Wilson Wooddale Funeral Home was very hands on and helpful during our time of mourning. The staff were attentive to our needs and very empathetic during the process of my sister’s passing. The pricing was ideal for the service and there was plenty of room to accommodate all of the family and guest. Wilson-Wooddale Funeral Home did an excellent job in meeting our family's needs and preparing our Mother for her final presentation during her transition. I selected them based on the reviews from their website and was pleased to see the number of females on their staff. They did not disappoint and everyone that cared for our Mother was very patient, respectful and professional.
