I wanted to take the time to drop a review and express my sincere thanks and appreciation to Courtney Palmer, at Monelison Whitten Funeral Home. Having to plan a funeral while grieving for the lost of a love one unexpectedly can be a difficult task! Courtney is 5 star! From my first phone call with Courtney, to inquire about arrangements for our uncle's passing, I knew that everything was going to be ok, especially with some of the challenging tasks I had to deal with. Courtney is very professional, but more importantly she is compassionate and caring. She was with me every step of the way and always available to answer any questions I had when making decisions. I don't know what I would have done without her. I also want to thank Courtney for going the extra mile to add a special touch to the service, which was a signed construction hat from the company (Counts and Dobyns) our uncle worked at for 20 plus years. I also want to recognize Monelison Whitten Funeral Home and the staff as a business. I have lived in Madison Heights my entire life (41 years) and unfortunately have had to attend many funerals at Monelison Whitten Funeral home and they are always so easy to work with and they make sure to show compassionate and comfort while helping you deal with the passing of a loved one! 10 out of 10 would highly recommend. I can never say enough amazing things about everyone I worked with during the worst time of my life. Everyone here made it a little bit easier for us to say goodbye to my mom. I’m so glad we went with Whitten, I’ll always recommend them to everyone I know! They truly are the kindest most amazing people, always there when I needed them even after the funeral was over, never made me feel like I was a bother. Easiest 10 star rating I’ve ever given!

We had a very short time to prepare and then actually have the service. Whitten was very gracious and informative about the steps we needed to take based on my husbands father’s wishes.
