My father passed away and when his wife went to collect his ashes, the director instructed the employees not to give his wife the ashes due to her still owing on the bill. We have a recorded conversation of the employee saying this. Once my sister said “Lawyer”, the employee took her name and number for the director to call her. It is against the law to hold human remains as security for payment. (ORC chapter 4717.13) We still have not heard back from the funeral director. Whatever agreement they had with his wife, didn’t and couldn’t mean they could hold his ashes.

My father past away and used them for his services. They informed me his services used up entire amount then called this year to insurance company they informed me different. That the funeral home cut a check to my Aunt in amount of 927.00 . But yet told me it was a provisonnal fee as if the policy wasn't paid for. It is right on my paper work a fee. . This place lied and said I was over it and I was the one who had to sign. But yet they gave my mother's sister who was not his wife or anything to him but a friend the remainder of the money. The insurance company said I was the one who should of gotten the remainder of the money . Now I get why they didn't want me to change his casket. Because they already cut the check to the aunt and realized they messed up . Me not knowing signed papers making it ok for this funeral home to work in cahoots with the scam . thankful tho I got my father's flag but my aunt got his sign book . I would never recommend this place after finding out thru insurance company who says we released a check to funeral home for you to take care of it and the funeral home should of released the left over money to you. . It a shame dishonest places are able to run. I know now to Never trust funeral homes as they lie for everything to work in their favor. And will lie. They never said we cut a check to your aunt they called it a fee. I still have the paperwork till this day. Pay attention to your policy's. Never trust funeral home to be honest.

During visitation hours there was no drinks offered. All they had was a water fountain. Any funeral home I’ve ever been to has always offered at least some coffee or even some cups for water.Carpet and furniture was outdated and worn out. Towards the end of visitation I overheard the cleaning lady ( I assume that’s who she was) talking on her phone complaining that we weren’t gone yet and that’s exactly why they are getting a bad review! How rude can you possibly be!! I’m not sure how much it cost to have the funeral there but I’m sure it was too much!
