I'm writing this review with an extremely heavy heart. 5 days ago my family lost a very special person. After one year battle with cancer my wonderful father died. My all family lives in Poland, only my in USA. I could not go to funeral, but I decided that service must signify the appreciation I had of him in a way that only Isabela Van Tassel could've provided. This is message to all people who can't go to funeral outside the country, is always a way to do this here, but I recommended- you need a good person to help you. Izabela helped me a lot. Although it was a very difficult time for me, Van Tassel Funeral provided me with the comfort and peace of mind I desperately needed. My family used van tassel funeral home in Bloomfield for the burial of my grandfather in October. This was the first passing that our family experienced and I cannot thank Izabela enough for the amazing service that she provided. She was compassionate, kind, and professional from start to finish. Izabela handled everything with sensitivity and ease that was needed when dealing with the difficult area of death. My family felt very comforted on the days when they had to make decisions and review documents, select caskets, and everything else. Which was a very difficult task for my family. We never felt rushed, prodded, or treated like it was a business. All the logistical items were clear, and she took the time to explain everything in detail.
