This is not a customer review, but I'd still like to share my experience at Uht Funeral Home. Uht is an educational partner with WSU and I was sent there as a student. Over the course of a few months, I got to know each and every staff member there. They treat every single person that comes through their door with respect and compassion. They truly go above and beyond to make sure the funeral experience is personalized and dignified for your loved one. The building itself has a very comforting vibe, pleasant decor, clean facilities, and a gorgeous live bird enclosure. They are also extremely knowledgeable. I'll use what I learned from them throughout my own career as a funeral director. Although I work at another funeral home in the area, I will always hold Uht in high regard. I'd trust them with any of my loved ones.

From the minute we arrived at the funeral home there was zero compassion. Not one mention of condolences. They spelled my mother’s name wrong and put the wrong address on the death certificate. For what we had to pay we were very disappointed. The ladies from Uht’s were great at the church and Cemetary, but the owner/director was less than professional.

This is the place to say goodbye to your loved one. They handle all matters with dignity and respect. The home itself is one of the nicest I've even been in. It's clean and kept up beautifully. It was an honor to be able to say goodbye to my family member in the setting they provide. Uht is a class act and the folks that run it are too. Thank you for your service to our community.
