Wow what a beautiful experience today, I Cheryl Lajoie Ringgold, my 2 older sisters Yolanda Ringgold, Katrina Ringgold and my Aunt Rose Merritt, Dr. Jacquita L. Wright-Henderson Funeral Director explained the process with much knowledge, class and grace, she broke everything down in cost with no hidden fees, the prices are very reasonable for the services they offer, copies of receipts were made, emails with information needed for my sister's and I, the professionalism that was showed today, I would definitely recommend for your local funeral Home. Thanking God for my sisters choosing the right place to lay our father William Ringgold to rest 🙏 Be blessed everyone 🙏

I would NOT suggest this place for a loved one! They seem hungry for money, yet they’re meeting w/ families in a dilapidated building. Their customer service lacks compassion which they should have when dealing w/ people’s deceased love ones. They presented my fathers body to my mother & siblings looking terrible. His nails were extremely dirty it looked as if they just took him from the hospital & let him sit til they dressed him (no wash) . I was very displeased with their service. Never AGAIN! From your review response we can tell how professional you are. Also, it was never about money for my loved one. The presentation of the body was DOWN RIGHT DISRESPECTFUL!! , & as far as the buildings go people can stop by & see for themselves. Trying to be respectful so I won’t post the inside but here’s a few pics of the outside.(someone probably knows the fire chief)

My husband’s cousin passed away, “Gladstone Scott,” hence my husband, one of many pastors in the family, was called to officiate the funeral. Not knowing Delaware or being familiar with the House of Wright Mortuary, I googled the establishment. I became concerned about the service our deceased loved one and the grieving family would have received based on some of the reviews I read. After leaving the funeral home today, I purposed in my heart to write a review. The premises were immaculate, and all their signage was clear. Upon arrival, they had an usher greet and guide us to the appropriate entrance. The ushers were very helpful and polite and treated us with great respect and empathy. I commend the House of Wright and its staff for the excellent service they provide to our family/community at such an integral time in one’s life. “Thank You!” Side Bar: Kudos to the organist, you did it! You put your heart into it! I had to take a pic! 🤣🤣
