One of the first funeral service firms in South Lawrence was established in 1924 at 111 South Broadway, opposite St. Patrick Church and the rapidly growing tightly-knit neighborhood it surrounded. In 1937 the funeral director had it moved across the street to 107 South Broadway where today after many years it still remains. Although under different management and ownership, the Diaz-Healy Family is committed to preserving the history of this true Lawrence landmark and its many civic-minded contributions to this community over many years. We are continually improving to better meet the needs of those we serve.

Mike is great person kind loving and feels every death that comes tur his doors is like he taps in the family hearts and feels all there pain. The whole service was great from the day that my mommy past he pick her up the same day and did not let my mom be in the hospital morge.. he gave my mom a privit room until veiwing time . I would highly recommend Diaz-Healy Funeral Home for a loved one that has passed. Mike and the staff are both compassionate and professional. They went above and beyond, and far exceeded my expectations. Mike personally guided us through this entire experience from the day my stepdad passed to the day we received his ashes. He even took the time to console my mom days after the services ended. Natalie was also super helpful and just so sweet. Mike and Natalie made us feel comfortable as if we were in our own home. . Kudos to both of them for a service done with elegance and Grace.
