My Mother passed in late February and had a prearranged funeral with Tate Funeral Home. The personnel at Tate were very helpful, kind, and professional throughout the process. I had never planned a funeral before and Tena walked us through all the steps and guided us along the way. It's very difficult to make all the decisions so early in the grieving process and I recommend everyone plan ahead. Tate Funeral Home did an excellent job with my Mother. I was pleased with the services they provided. The florist they recommended also did an excellent job.

My mother passed away Aug 30 2022 my brother and I had already made prearranged plans and after her death we had to go sign the paper work and pick out what we wanted. she was cremated first we ordered the box to have her ashes in for the memorial service we was going to do we get the box in and it wasn’t the box we picked out Tina said if we wanted the design we should have said something that the design coast extra. would have been nice to know at the time we was picking out the box for her ashes because we would not have minded paying extra we just thought the box we picked was what we was getting and she never told us different the day we picked it out. Now after her being gone 7 and a half months my brother gets a email from Tina letting us know her headstone was in they don’t know where to put it in the cemetery and that there was no phone number to get in touch with us we had to sign the paper work. we put our phone numbers on the paperwork we signed never had our numbers changed or anything. Was supposed to have met with someone for the headstone to be placed no one was at the funeral home and finally got the call back and of course it was Tina claimed she gave my brothers phone number to the person over the cemetery and we finally got a call from him after having to reach back out. Now we have to wait longer for her head stone to be placed because the people doing the headstone was never told the day she passed away so they was going to have the head stone placed with out the day of passing. I do not recommend their service we have had nothing but trouble. if we have to do anymore funeral arrangements it will not be with Tates anymore

My grandson Raylon passed away on September 5th. The visitation was on Friday September 11th and the service was September 12th. This is the hardest thing our family has ever endured. Everyone at Tate's Funeral Home went above and beyond their call of duty to make sure everything was taken care of to honor Raylon. Every special request was fulfilled. I can never express my gratitude enough. Sherri&Johnny Sisk, Tena, Norman, and Kenny I will forever be thankful and grateful for everything you did for my family. Again Thank you all so much...
