Swicegood Funeral Home has taken care of my family it seems like forever. My dad had an awesome service there in 1987, my mom in 2002 and my husband was taken very good care of by them in 2003. If I can afford it, that's who I want to handle my remains. Yes, their facilities are old, but they are very caring and very respectful for your wishes. When my husband passed, I went straight to them and they helped me through every step of the way, even contacting the responsible person for our family Cemetery. They even were okay with having to wait several weeks for the insurance to come in so that I could pay them for everything. They were very accommodating.

My experiences with Swicegood Funeral Home has been positive. The funeral home assisted me when both of my parents went to be with the Lord. When my moma went to be with the Lord, it was one of the hardest days of my life. As I go through life without her, it gets harder and harder. Swicegood Funeral assisted me and my family during one of the hardest times in my life. Professional staff members helped me with ensuring everything we wanted to have at the funeral, we had. They provided suggestion only when we asked for it. The empathy the staff such as the Funeral Director, Wendy, Nicole, and other staff members showed us will never be forgotten. The person who completed our paperwork showed a highly level of integrity and compassion. There was no hidden cost in the plan we chose. They never made us feel rushed while my family and I discussed what we wanted. Thank you Swicegood for providing a great service during the beginning of one of the hardest journeys I have been on.
