⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We recently held my father’s funeral service at Sunset Hills Memorial Park & Funeral Home, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The funeral director, Kelly Merrill and her apprentice, Jamie, were both phenomenal. Their professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail went above and beyond what we could have hoped for. They made a difficult time easier and ensured that every aspect of the service was handled with care and respect. The celebrant, Anne Jenny, was equally wonderful. She led a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony that truly honored my father’s life. Her words and presence were incredibly comforting. We received many compliments on how meaningful and well-organized the service was. I highly recommend Sunset Hills for anyone looking for a dedicated, caring team to help plan a beautiful and respectful farewell 👍🏼

Sunset Hills is a beautiful site where many of our family members are buried. This was my first time being involved with burying someone at Sunset Hills and it was highly emotional. Would highly recommend the staff takes time to review their business practice and the importance of managing expectations and empathy from beginning to end! Sadly, the first interaction with the receptionist lacked empathy which felt very hollow and it was business as usual. Follow through on when our loved one's body would be available for viewing was disappointing, as this did not happen until the day of burial. Be sure to get an overall list of burial costs on the initial visit. We received the costs of the burial site and signed a contract. However, the first time we received the cost of the funeral services was via email. We questioned some of the charges and the response was not a personal phone call, but done via email. Again, very hollow. Families must feel that they are more than a number on a financial spreadsheet. It is so important to have compassion and take the time to reach out personally to ensure that they are receiving the services needed during this emotionally charged time. Would recommend that there are more options for templates for the obituary. We created our own to reflect our loved one's life. The funeral director did a very good job of updating the website quickly and getting the materials printed on short notice. We really appreciated this.

They spare no effort arranging the funeral and work around the clock to ensure everything goes smoothly at the funeral. I am really appreciated that the funeral home has taken care of my family at the most difficult time. Both of the family service advisor and funeral director are super responsive and shows exceptional professionalism throughout the whole process.
