I wish I could share a better experience. I had trouble with my dad and stepmother's service because of poor communication, staff that can't help when the director is busy, missed deadlines, etc. They both had prepaid funerals but the process was never explained to me. Baked goods for the service were served in the grocery store containers instead of being plated to at least LOOK appetizing. They did not have staff at the door greeting people and directing them to the guest book. No one talked with me after the services so I understood what closure would look like, if the estate owed more money, etc. I was disappointed with both experiences.

Probably the most unprofessional and irresponsible people my sisters and I have every worked with. Our meeting was haphazard, awkward and they were totally unprepared. He kept leaving the room, taking phone calls and telling us how he didn’t really like his job. For the $$ they charge, it should have been better. The funeral went OK but there is no follow-up after. It took them over a year to fill our order and “install” a vase in the mausoleum…which involved setting it on the floor. (Additional charges since it was not mentioned or offered during our initial meeting.) It’s been 18 months and mom’s year of death 2022 (which is so small you can’t read it anyway) is still not there. And they misspelled Ruth (how is that possible?) and did a sloppy job correcting the lettering. We made 3 follow-up visits to resolve issues (pounded on the door until someone answered because the door is always locked) and they NEVER return phone calls. Our parents would be so disappointed as they selected this final resting location.

My sisters and I are very grateful for the great care we received from Sunrise Funeral Home while planning our brothers funeral. Larissa and her team were very professional, efficient, thorough and compassionate. They took us by the hand and lead us through the whole process. Larissa thought of everything, and was very responsive when we had questions. We recieved many positive comments on the service and the beautiful program Larissa created. Thank you.
