We have used this funeral for multiple family members (2 grandparents, 3 uncles, a nephew and most recently my dad). I understand that working in this business may cause people to desensitize themselves from the situation but the way my mother was treated during the cremation process of my dad is just unbelievably wrong. She had an appointment to pick up my father's remains at 2:00 but when she arrived she was told that he had not been processed and to have a seat and he would be out in 30 minutes... so you basically told a woman to have a seat while the love of her life and husband of 50 years was put in an oven and set on fire... and then you gave the remains to my sister WHILE THEY WERE STILL HOT... on top of this interaction, my mother was charged for services that she did not receive. Our family will never again use this funeral home and will openly warn anyone who will listen of the insensitive treatment of families and relatives by employees.

Beyond thankful for the experience I had in planning not one, not two but three funerals in less than two years time- at Summersett. Specifically thankful for the patience, guidance, understanding, and peace Kristen Barber gave to me during each experience.

Summersett handled the cremation of my parents with dignity and respect. They took care of many of the details I would never have thought of. Thankful for their professionalism and compassion during heartbreaking loss.
