My father passed away after a brief illness. Stine Funeral home exceeded our expectations in every way. Mike and Cathy were very caring and made the process easy to navigate. The staff were exceptional, especially during the service, they took care of everything for us. We didn't have to worry about anything. If you are thinking of using this funeral home for your loved one who passed away ....STOP ABORT and TURN AROUND.....this is not the funeral home for you where they are sympathetic to you and your family for your Loss. CATHY was extremely rude and acted like witch toward me during my sadness of the loss of my dad. Spoke to her over the phone a few times and then went in person and she became short tempered and snippy with me when I shared my concern with me signing a document to allow for cremation that stated I was the spouse when I was the daughter.....I did not marry my dad. I politely requested a document that reflects who I am before I were to sign my rights away per my lawyer guidance and Cathy went rogue on me and became super irritated and snippy accusing me of delaying cremation. If I signed on the inaccurate dotted line I would be charged for the cremation as my dad's wife, as the sign said all plans were to be paid for at time of signing. It was suppose to be indigent due to my father being homeless upon death and this place only cared about getting paid and not delayed in their process. The man at the table and the door were anything but pleasant. Take your business elsewhere. You will be glad you did. This place is obviously not in the caring customer service business.. and Cathy your mannerisms are awful. You need to decide to retire early or quit or better yet go take a class on kindness.

Our mother’s death was unexpected and we had no idea of how to proceed with a funeral. Kathy and her staff were caring and very detailed with the exact steps we needed to put everything together. Our family attended from five different states and every one of them complimented the entire staff and the level of service Stine provided. The event, while sad, was beautiful and amazing in more ways than we can describe. Highly recommend.
