My initial experience there was sad, of course, but the two ladies that took care of me upfront while signing paperwork were wonderful. My significant other passed away the end of August why would I still be waiting for his cremation to be handled and if there is a reason why am I making all the phone calls to them not one time have they reached out to me while I’m grieving? I was with that person for 22 years, I should not be reaching out to a place that supposed to be taking care of him to see if they’re done yet it’s almost a month now and still do not have his ashes. It took about two weeks to pay them because I’m struggling but they were paid and I’m still not getting called. It hurts to have to call a business that’s taking care of your loved one. It makes it feel like they don’t care about you or the situation that you’re going through, I really wish a positive review on this experience because it’s been hell grieving and going through all of this. Update! It’s now Thursday sept 26th! Once again I called Steele chapel!! my nerves are shot and this place is not helping the lady that answered the phone said I see that he was cremated yesterday, but I don’t have them up here with me……. So I guess in a nutshell, that means he still not ready my Best Friend my love died August 29

Visited the chapel today and it was a pleasant experience. Very simple and Pleasant environment compared to others in the past. The place was packed w/people that they had to bring out foldable chairs. The ladies restroom is small w/two stalls. Overall, the areas to sit in and wait are small and convenient if you need to get away from a herd of people. The lady at the front desk was kind and helpful.

My twin sister passed away three years ago. We had her service here and she was cremated on site as well. The whole experience was surreal, but the staff at Steele chapel were nothing short of exceptional. Kind, personable, and sincere, I hope not to lose any loved ones soon. But I know where to go if it does happen.
