Our family has been dealing with Smits Funeral Home services through several generations and will continue to seek their experience and knowledge in the future. Having been to many funerals my appreciation starts when I walk in the door. The general open area, when you walk in, is bright but not overstated. It’s uplifting not dark and sad. The lounge area is large with plenty of seating and there is ample counter space to set out food and available refrigerator for our use. The restrooms are clean and well kept. While working with Tim to make our loved one’s arrangements, Tim has always been prepared, he is kind and professional. He makes helpful suggestions and is willing to work within financial restrictions and varying family requests. I know he can handle my questions with care and efficiency. It was a relief that they took care of scanning photos on our behalf and putting together a slideshow including digital pictures we sent to them. They set up the service just the way we asked and everything was ready when we arrived the morning of. Finally, all other staff we worked with were also kind, professional and helpful. Anytime we called with questions or had needs or questions during the services we were taken care of and quickly. Thank you Smit’s for supporting us during this difficult time.
