Losing a loved one will be the hardest thing for anyone to go through. Sunnyside had made everything a very easy and smooth process from the arrangements, catering to our religious beliefs, help setting up everything before hand and great with communications. We were able to give our father a beautiful send off. Thank you to Cherie and the whole Sunnyside staffs.

What a find! Sunnyside was a blessing for my family and everything worked out perfectly. From the first contact with Charles when my mom went into Hospice, I knew they were going to give a very personalized service. After my mom passed, we were able to meet with the Mortuary right away. Our Funeral director Jonathan walked us through all the procedures. They have a pre-packaged plan that was very reasonable and includes all the basics. Of course you can always add on or go a la carte as well and all fees were explained up front. Jonathan provided all the options but didn’t try the hard upsell at all! They were even able to accommodate some of our logistic requirements that weren’t exactly spelled out as well! They took care of everything at the graveside service, including working with the cemetery to arrange everything necessary. Jose was there to manage logistics- he did an amazing job, from providing a speaker and music, to connecting with us personally over historic facts and remembrances. Again, Jonathan was also there to answer any questions and help as well. Overall, I would say this is a very personal mortuary- definitely not a “big-box” corporation. Everything went perfectly, and I was very impressed with Jonathan, Jose and Charles and all their hard work. Will definitely recommend them when people need these type of services.
