When my husband died unexpectedly, I had no idea how to choose a funeral home. A friend chose Schoedinger Worthington for me. My experiences with funeral homes is limited, and I was warned of the possibility of upselling. Todd was our funeral director, and it could not have been a better experience. He reached out immediately and kept me apprised of every step that was taken. There was no pressure, in fact, he recommended the least expensive option. Even in our grief we felt cared for and had no added worries. Thank you, Todd!

We used this location for my father's funeral last July. We already had the planning and it prepaid through the Grove City location, so only had dealt with this location post death. We really only had to pick the flowers and complete the obituary (which we wrote ourselves). We had Bailey Bird and she was so friendly, compassionate, and caring. She took care of all of our needs. I really loved that she wanted to get to know what our dad was like and wanted to hear some stories. In the midst of all of the tears, we had some laughs sharing those stories. The other staff we dealt with was also nice and especially the lady that was there for our family to assist during the showing. The showing went very smoothly and the funeral did as well except it was rather disorganized lining up the cars. Typically the immediate family makes up the car(s) immediately behind the hearse. They had 2 of dads kids and all of the grandkids strung out in the parking lot and extended family members up behind the hearse where the kids and grandkids should have been. The one thing we did not like is all of the pushy sales now that they are owned by Dignity. The always had a sales package for all of the extra stuff available, but now they really push selling it. We did purchase the sign in book, video, and bookmarks. Not sure that we would have bought all of it if there wasn't so much time spent on those extras.
