We lost my mother-in-law on April 1, and my mother on May 21. Both Moms had prearranged their funerals with Janie and Patti at Schmidt’s Funeral Home. That was the start of their caring and professionalism with our families. They guided and helped us through everything that we had to do in order to honor our Moms in the way they wished. We very much appreciated their compassion and knowledge. If six stars were allowed, we would definitely give that! Thank you Janie, Patti, Kayla and staff!

My family has been using the Schmidt Funeral Home for the burial of all our loved ones. This funeral home performed the services & burial for my father and mother, Kenneth and Carol, in the years 2002 and 2003. More recently, this funeral home performed the viewing and burial of my brother, Brian, on the 9th of October 2024. The funeral directors are very caring and compassionate people, who have always done an excellent job for our family, while helping my siblings, relatives and friends with our grief, for the loss of our loved ones!

These ladies made my husband’s burial a very caring event. They could not have done a better job. This is a very rough time on the family and they had just the right combination of caring and comfort. They accommodated my specific requests. I would highly recommend this place.
